When attempting to solve the world’s problems, there are certainly bigger fish to fry. For example, the wholesale misinterpretation of scripture within the (pseudo) Christian Community itself. There is so much heresy being taught in the name of Jesus that most people dismiss the irregularities and just ignore all the square pegs that have been jammed into round holes. It is much easier to just continue to believe what you’ve always been taught, whether it has validity or not.

You see, a typical Jewish man has always been taught that he must keep the Sabbath (don’t work or travel on Saturday) and obey the Law of Moses if he hopes to enter the Kingdom of God. (Salvation by The Law)

Tens of thousands of Baptists are being taught they must repent of their sins, be water baptized and to keep short accounts with the Lord for their salvation. If they backslide, their salvation is lost and they can never again be saved. (Conditional Salvation)

Other Baptist ordained ministers teach that you must repent of your sins, be water baptized and live the Christian life and your salvation is sealed until the day of redemption. A failure to display a Godly life revokes this salvation as being incomplete however. (Lordship Salvation)

The Catholic Church teaches that all the Protestants are going to their destruction because the Apostolic Lineage from Peter, down through the generations of popes to the present day exists only in the ‘true’ church. Having no Apostolic Lineage, all protestant churches lack the divine power to save anybody. (If this is true you might have a problem if you're not Catholic)

Huge numbers of teachers and ordained ministers are teaching that God decided if He loved you before you were born and that Jesus did NOT die for everyone. They teach that Jesus’ sacrifice was not provided as restitution for the sins of Pharaoh, for Saul or for Judas (and obviously not for YOU if you don’t attend their church). (Calvinism)

If you lived within 500 miles of Salt Lake City, you would probably be learning that the power of salvation was restored to earth by the modern-day prophet, Joseph Smith and only members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have any access to salvation. (Mormonism)

Millions will perish because they were brought up to believe in this church or in that church or in no church. The big question here is “What does God say is necessary for salvation?” (The Law? Calvinism? Catholicism? Lordship Salvation? Mormonism? ) You cannot afford to be wrong. Let’s face it; all of us have been taught something or other. It is up to us to test it against scripture to see if it is true.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

So, as we can see. It is NOT what we have "BEEN TAUGHT", but "what saith the SCRIPTURES" that will determine the plumbline for TRUTH that all of us will be held to when we stand before God. If we don't stand with Jesus for truth then we are "enemies of the cross" according to scripture.

Hi Hector FYI, Snopes has been proven wrong on many occasions. If you want an interesting view on religions, watch the videos below. Their has been many Messiah's over the ages that have the same similarities as Jesus including the cross.

The BIBLE IS the TRUE WORD of GOD and nothing less. This deceitfulness would  be exposed and even more so if anyone would just ask, "Jesus, are You real?" "Jesus, show me who You are?" "God, did You form me?, Can I find grace from You for me?" & "How?" Even history will reveal what was, is and is to come. As it goes these days we live in a spirit driven world without any vision or knowledge there of and are always being fed lies even from the father of lies, John 8: 44, & "Where there is no vision the people perish". But seeking Him gives a firm, grounded understanding of the Father, the Son & the Holy Ghost; who which we are made in the image of, Genesis 1:26, just a little lower than the angels, Psalm 8 & Hebrews 2:5-8. I would like to think we are all angels of God.

I do love the Lord and have a desire to show others His love for us. It is as far as the east is from the west.

The point I was trying to make to Hector was that different people have different beliefs, from one extreme to the other. No one knows for sure what happens to us when we die. We only have faith and our religion to go by. With all the hundreds of religions in the world, they all seem to have one thing in common. They truly think their way is the right way and all the others are wrong. So really, no one knows for sure who's right. But everyone of them will have a dozen reasons or more why theirs is the right one. Einstein proved that one of the constants of the universe was that energy never dissipates, it merely changes form. So we do know the energy in our bodies will change form and not die. But thats all we really Know. What happens after that is just faith in whatever religion the individual believes.

You do have a very good point. And I could almost agree with you, and although I did not watch all 3 videos in their entirety, someone who is just searching blindly because they need something to believe in could find this very interesting to the point they believe. Although this belief would be fatally misguiding. Which as the saying goes, "the blind will lead the blind, and they will all fall into a pit". That actually comes from the Bible. This is long but I beg you to read when you have time, please.

I once dabbled in the very opposite, (the opposition), of Who God is and found it greatly intriguing to the point of capturing the attention of people who looked to me for an answer, just about life in general. Truely it worried me, at that time I was not close to or knew God but believed, which is of no effect. I was bartending, living in a very fast lane, running with an even faster crowd, drinking alot; and the story goes on. My point is, in these, 'documentaries', if you read the Bible you would see how or why any other culture or nation picked up on a thing to believe in, as human we need to believe. Even in the stars, sun, moon and sky, something to look to or in man's need find answres, to climb above, be better, taking on the leadership nature using these to promote their own knowledge and wisdom, individualy and corporately in a village setting or for a force against another nation. 

All humankind need 'a thing', but as a child of the Almighty, in many of the biographies and autobiographies, especially in the BC time frame, of the Living Word you find them wondering in diverse places but always carrying their faith in God, many times being out of the will of the Father and enduring some type of punishment as an earthly parent would punish. Take the Passover, (BC), and now Easter for instance, this is a great celebration of the children of Israel's, (who was Jacob and God promised to make him become a nation and still is today), exit from Egypt and how Pharaoh and the Egyptians enslaved the Israelites because they became too many. After 400 years God brought Moses out into the open at the age of 80 to free the the children. Pharoah was hard hearted and would not let them go but after God did many signs and wonders bringing affliction upon the land he let them go. One sign and wonder was the angel of death 'Passing Over' the children of God and their homes because they put sacrificial blood upon their door post so the angel did not kill their 1st born male as those who opposed the Israelites freedom.

There would be no doubt in my mind over this 400 years and when the Israelites had more freedom before enslavement, won some Egyptians to the Lord and held ceremonies, talking of God or having communion, prayer, baby dedications what will you, and this overflowed to the Egyptains wanting that type of belief or communion,  so making their god up who was not a living god. Then time and time again the corporate and collective nation would turn from God but there was always one or a handful, only to mention, that always followed after God's heart wherever they would be taken captive that would stand firm for their loving Father and living God, the story of Joseph and then Daniel, they too would have had a huge impact on the other nations they were captive in, and so the Word also tells, even in the midst of other gods that were manifested and molded by mere men's hands. Men themselves need visuals where women can vision so Some Thing needed to be a guide to them that did not conceive a Holy Spirit, the Living God who they were made in the like image.

God does love us so much as to warn us time and time again against this very thing. In The Acts 17, Paul, (who was Saul and influenced others as a leader to kill Christains untill...), went to Athens, Greece where the culture was philosophers, Epicurians and Stoicks and they caught him preaching Jesus and His resurrection, it did capture their interest so they took him to Areopagus and wanted to know more of this new and strange 'doctrine' he talked of. He began telling them he percieved they were superstitious, and noted they even had devotions by an alter inscribed to 'The Unknown God', he basically called them ignorant and proceeded to let them know who their unknown God is.

Then we could take the movie Stigmata and actually learn alot from it. The head of the Catholic church was trying to hide the fact more Living Word was found through a man of the clothe who had passed on that would retract most of the way they practiced their faith for many generations. An All Knowing God Who wants truth to become real, used this phenomenon to bring out the truth through a non believing young woman who experienced the physical death of Jesus' crucifixtion. In other words the truth was covered, twisted and kept hid and rather than man humbleing himself to correct what was wrong and bring forth God's truth they became prideful and was going to continue feeding people lies. Note the pride and opposition here. (I'm not saying the use of actual dennominations or caricatures in the use of this was true or right but the point), the truth again was being hid and the false was trying to be established because of too much pride.

As far as faith in whatever we believe, 'whatever', is a dangerous statment. That could cover even what we wouldn't want to see or know. I long for people to  understand Jesus' passionate love for us, He gave more than we know. And He only wants to give us a better life here and teach us about His Holiness to live a much better life there.

The enemy on the other hand wants to take as many lives he can to where we don't want to go and is the prince of this world, also God's opposition. God is love and the Father of love, Creator and Eternal with the power and longing to give us the same eternal life with Him through Jesus who became our Pass over sacrifice. Satan was a highly adorned angel who rose up in opposition to God  in pride and arrogance trying to make himself above God who in fact made him. He is the father of lies, breeds hate, sets himself against all God stands for and wears down God's creation because he was cast down from the heaven of heavens and romes this earth seeking who he may destroy with those who followed after him to bring us into eternal death. He stops at nothing and he is death.

Me, I can testify that I thought as you did, but too, had an idea of what was real or not. The love of God starts a transformation I can't convey and when it happens it's as if something inside of you breaks, things in life seem to crumble, the life you live hurts you and the drawing of the Holy Spirit is so strong as if you are drawing from His stregnth to get through whatever it is hurting. A great rush of comfort in God's Word relieves you of the hurt but at the same time makes your heart drop to your stomach, your heart pounds as if it will open up your chest and you just know He is calling you to come to Him, but that 1st step is so hard. (I am in tears right now reliving this). If you don't take that step and turn away, you feel defeated, I did that at first. It is continually on your mind. When you finally do, you feel a lifting of heaviness, like you conquered and overcame a great barrier you wasn't aware was there. That is the moment you meet a mere man who sacrificed His life for you but is now become a passion, love, peace, releif, substantialy grounded advocate for this life now and a much better after 'retirement'.  Jesus is not what ever but the One who bought and paid for our eternal life so that we may be where He is rather than the dreadful ultimatum.

He knows you better than you or anyone, He loves you better than anyone, His thoughts of you are more than the sand on a beach and He purposed you for His kingdom and glory. Psalm 139 says it very well. If we don't believe one we believe the other, I chose life. This was why I posted Allah or Jesus Christ.
