This is really racist in a round-about way. America is made up of a bunch of different cultures and backgrounds. I respect your opinions or your views. But the America I live in is a melting pot of cultures from all over the wolrd. After all our ancestors came here seeking a fresh start. So now 200 and change years later, it's only for certain people? Exactly who is taking our country away from us? Stuff like this only serves to demean every other culture in america. America is more than just white america. Sad people still think this way!!

is it racist to want to talk to a english speaking person when you call to pay a bill or need help with your computer after paying 1,000 dollars for it??? or any money or any help as far as that is concerned. yes america is made up of different people, nothing wrong with that, but why are our business going else where or hireing people you cant understand? so yeah when there are people going for jobs they should hire people who speak english fluently... every race color or creed has the same rights as i as long as they are an american, i do not believe anyone is any better than i or should get special consideration because of what happened to their ancestors, i myself am a Hinez 57 made up of american indian, irish, german, and who knows what else..lol..we are all mixed some where or another. im tired of people sayin to take GOD out of everything, what happened to our freedoms? so what if you believe differently, thats great, but dont step on my toes, this country was founded on freedom of religion, look it up if you dont believe it. everyone in every way has been persecuted in one way or another so just teach your children to do better..thats all i have to say ...for now lol..

I dont take it as being RACIST. I am sorry you feel that way. This just goes to show you that no matter what is the topic on here, someone is going to belittle or take it the wrong way. first off i dont have a bike of any kind, if your referring to me..and second , i dont read all the tags that i purchase my clothes from, i do know its from a local store and americans sold it to me ..but i did eat at a asain restaurant the other day but it was in america..i also shop at good will sometimes helping americans out, but i dont read their tags either...its hard to find american made that is low cost, and i dont buy nike's unless they have them at a rummage sale..with 5 kids you cant be to picky... but let me tell you what, if i did have a bike it would be a harley and i would where the shirts if i had the money as long as it was tasteful and not crude..so there...

I was not directing to you Tammy or anyone person. It was meant in general how people cry buy American espeshially auto workers who look down on Honda owners or Toyota owners when those cars are more American made than GM Or Ford , Chrysler etc. I remember teamster wanted us to boycott but they still wore their Nike s , they still shopped at Meier and Walmart .The UAW Auto workers never help other unions like the teamsters They push that American made down our throats. But they wear Nike they shop at meier and walmart They could care less if they are union or not, th spend at the cheapest but by God do not let the rest of us shop for the best value car. I used to think their way until I bought a brand new super-glide and when I changed tires right there stamped on the inside of the front forks (MADE IN JAPAN) I almost threw up. Then I started noticing I was a teamster for 29 years and the UAW auto workers had no problem crossing our lines to shop at the Meier's and walmarts . They talk the talk but don't walk the walk. How many of you Chrysler workers in town do the same? And you are owned by a foreign company.Most who scream buy American have no idea what they are talking about, just look at their shoes,or watches, very hypocritical. Remember when CocaCola tried to break the local 135 in Anderson The Auto workers continued to buy They did nothing to help a union brother, it's only when they want something they call out and use the word unamerican.

People also do need to recognize where the leading markets are. For instance the automakers can argue that they are relocating to places such as China because China is now their biggest market and in fact sold more cars then the United States last year. You will probably see some automobile companies going to Russia because they have a market with tremendous potential for auto sales.

There are in fact 1.3 Billion people that live in China and only 600 Million that live in the United States. I am in no way supporting the loss of jobs in America, I am simply recognizing the market factors and some reasons for the shift of jobs.

Not sure if I like it or not But it's a Global economy now. Not as simple as buy American, We all would be surprised if we knew the real owners of what we believe are American. Those people need jobs to be able to purchase our products. If you want American made then we must figure out how to build it better and cheaper. It's a hard nut to swallow when other countries put high tariffs on our products so we can't compete fairly. In other ways to look at it is in this way other countries are able to feed themselves and have money to buy American grain. It does get very complex and I am not smart enough grasp the whole scope of it. But I find it interesting how it all works.

I have some agreements and disagreements regarding this piece of writing.
First, regarding keeping the money that individuals have worked for. Do citizens like having military protection, scientific research, structural improvement, etc.? That is what your tax money pays for so I think it is a cost that I am willing to absorb.
Second, in regards to praying to the one true God whenever they want I can agree. This is acceptable; however, you must be tolerant when other individuals with other religious affiliations want to partake in their respective religious practices. Don’t forget freedom of religion, no matter what the religion may be.
I do indeed wish for equality among all. The past is the past and I do wish redemption for all would be in the making so we could live as a united nation instead of one that is often divided weather it be from racist activist, political activist, or religious activist.
In regards to the way the country is and change, I believe there is always room for change and bettering of this country. Instead of leave how about everyone becomes productive and work for a better tomorrow no matter where you originated, who you are, or what you think.
The section about the cops and the right to pull you over if you are indeed breaking the law I agree. However, I would retract the statement “regardless of your color” that is simply not needed.
Having God marked on the currency I am torn. I like it because I do believe in God, however some individuals don’t and I believe we need to be respectful and tolerant of their personal beliefs. This country was founded on freedom of religion, not one particular religion but all. This is something that has often been confused in the past. People are always trying to persecute individuals that have a different belief system when people fled here to avoid just that.
In terms of the American flag being the only one allowed in America I have to disagree. People can be proud of their heritage and America at the same time. Remember, freedom.
Bless the troops that are serving this country with out them we would not be in this position and have the current freedoms we hold.

Yes, indeed it is a global economy. Many American companies are financed and owned by foreign business leaders. However, there are also many American business men/women that own companies in other countries. That is what makes this a global economy. America is not in the industrial age anymore. We are currently in the technological age and we must embrace it because nothing can be done.

Nicely said! I do believe the police in some areas (Carmel) practice racial profiling. An officer was arrested and fired without pay in Westfield 2 weeks ago for profiling. He would pull over Mexicans and have them bribe him to be let go. Some one wrote they were getting off easier than facing the Hamilton co. judge. haha but how many were not guilty of anything except being a Mexican and pulled over by a racist. Something you will never hear about our EPD. They do do some good. And do it the right way. Thank-you to them! Now back to FOOTBALL!!!

I was in no way trying to say anything against you. I just made my comments towards the piece of writing. Whenever I used the word “you” I was meaning the general population not anyone in particular. I was in no way trying to make any reference to the individual that posted this piece.

i have to disagree with you on this about religion...Patrick Henry, the patriot and founding father of our country said: It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians, not on religions but on the gospel of Jesus Christ.....James Madison , the fourth President, known as ' The Father of our Constitution ' made the following statement: "We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.'.... The Supreme Court courtroom as you enter, has two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved in them also right above where the judges sit, every session of congress begins with prayer by a preacher since 1777, there are also bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C., ...and im quoting someone else here.."how have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 220 years in this country is now suddenly wrong and unconstitutional?".....i have to agree, about the money and displaying the Commandment, prayer in school ... I also believe you should be able to practice any belief you wish but get off all the christians case about theirs...This Country was founded by christian religion and that is a fact .....
