Chili Cookoff

October in Elwood means one thing to many. Time for the annual Chili Cookoff. This year the weather was beautifully sunny with a slight breeze to keep the 21 entrants comfortable while awaiting the judges' decisions.
Coming in at third place was Dangerous Curves. With second place going to the elks, only first place was left. Taking the title of first was Delong Electric.
The Elwood Church of God swept the remaining three categories of: best dressed, hottest, and people's favorite.
Congratulations to everyone who entered. Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed this wonderful community event. Hopefully nobody suffers too big of a revenge from all of the chili beans.

Red Gold Chili Cookoff
I am really glad I stopped by the Cookoff for the first time! A lot of acquaintances there. Met some nice new folks as well. Could not have asked for better weather!!

I'm so sad I missed it this year. It's nice seeing the pictures though - looks like a good turnout!
