There were these 3 Chinese fellas, going by the names of Fu, Bu and Chu who decided to immigrate to the US. They wanted to become American Citizens, and "Americanize" their names.

Bu - called himself "Buck"
Chu called himself "Chuck"
and Fu had to go back to China.
