If you were working the Elwood EMERGENCY room on the evening of 4 November 2007, then this is for each and every one of you.
My son was brought to the emergency room by ambulance. Because of your actions and professionalism I feel that he is alive today.
He was Lifelined to St Vincent Indiana Heart Center and is well on his way to mending.
His diagonisis was Cardic Arrest also known as sudden cardiac death when he got there, so had it not been for your decisions I do not feel that my son would be alive today.
I do not know the Doctor or Nurses names that worked on him and I did not know how to contact any of you as I do not live in Elwood.
I do know that I want to say THANK YOU and to let the people of Elwood see how well my son was cared for at your hospital.
PS Before anyone comments that of course he went to St Vincent's Heart Center. He went there because that is where I requested he be taken as they have among the best cardiac surgeons in the US. His heart surgeon was and is located there, before it became St Vincent's.

I knew there were positive things to be said about Elwood!
Its great to hear things went well with your son. Its nice when people come on here and post some of the positive things going on in this town!!! That way the rest of the world can see that this really is a pretty good place to live :) I guess it just annoys me to read so much crap printed about this town on other websites. They don't even have a clue how much we have changed here! Oh well, Together, maybe we can change those views others have about us. I guess We'll see :)
Thanks again
Al Jordan
